Mr. Big is a hard rock super-group that formed in 1988. I’m a regular at the Morton’s Power Hour . From 5PM to close every weekday, Morton’s offers cheap, delicious food at their bar. I usually go with a bunch of friends, and for 5 dollars a plate, we always leave fully satiated for not much cash. Besides their amazing prime beef sliders (which may be among the best burgers in the city), one my favorite things to get during the Morton’s Power Hour is the crab cakes. They are soft, flavorful, and full of lots and lots of crab.

As the walleyes will undoubtedly be heading to deeper water with the weather warming up at some point, I started thinking about heavy bottom bouncers again. What better way to end the week than with some classic metal?  I played the hell out of this album (yes, on vinyl) when it came out and it’s still one of my favorites.  Not so sure about the spandex, but it was the ’80s. The inspiration for this song is a poem by Lord Alfred Tennyson called “ The Charge of the Light Brigade “.  The vintage movie footage you’ll see in the video comes from the 1936 movie of the same name , starring Errol Flynn.  Both describe a famous battle during the Crimean War, during which the British managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory against the Russian Empire.

Sometimes when I get busy, I get all into what I’m doing, and I forget to eat. We have seen some great new game announcements, upcoming console features aswell as some new console announcements, all coming out of this years E3 Expo in sunny LA.
