Uh.. okay. This certainly puts a wedge on the excitement and anticipation for Gran Turismo 5 . So the official magazine you can pick up at the Tokyo Game Show not only lists every game on the floor , but some important details on those games. Like, how far they are from completion. Now, note that these are just estimates, no doubt thrown together by publishers and the show’s organisers to give people a rough idea how far off the games are. So they’re not hard science.   I have always read horror magazines and other publications.  You know like Fangoria, Heavy Metal, House of Hammer Magazine,  Famous Monsters, Re-animator comics, Grand Illusions, and of course all the Clive Barker books and comics . I look back in memory of how amazing I thought these books were and think they don’t do publications like this any more.  Well, today I stumbled across Monster Kid .   I love this online magazine because it has the old feel that the books, mags and comics that I read as a kid.

The Girl has a homework assignment in which she’s supposed to produce a random list of 24 things about herself. She doesn’t get much sympathy from me. I pointed out I do a list of 13 things about myself every week for Thursday Thirteen, and that I didn’t have one ready for this week yet. At the time she was eating a bowl of cereal. My Logitech MX Revolution (the best mouse I’d ever owned)died recently after a year and a half of heavy use. While I was disappointed to see the device fail, I was thankful when Logitech honored their three-year warranty and sent  a replacement free of charge. The MX Revolution had been discontinued by the time my unit was kaput. In its place, Logitech sent the Revolution’s successor, the Performance Mouse MX.  Similar to the MX Revolution, the Performance Mouse MX might well have been called the MX Evolution, as it primarily builds on the strengths of its predecessor while correcting some of its flaws.
